How did I become a content writer for a start-up?

If I want to talk about the process of becoming a content writer in WINaTALENLT I need to look a bit back. I studied Engineering Physics at college. After graduation, I found out Physics was not for me. I didn’t like teaching and the whole engineering nerdish environment wasn’t working out for me. So I persuaded another field to study. I studied fashion, costume, and fabric design in independent and private classes. Afterward, I started my grad studies in fabrics and fashion design at the university.
Meanwhile, I started to work as a fashion designer and assistance tailor in a studio. The work hours were 10–12 hours a day. Also, the payment was nothing compared to my living expenses. But it was something that I liked a lot (I still do!) and was pretty good at. Then a friend of mine introduced me to the theater. I worked as a costume designer and assistance in different projects from theater to short movies. The whole thing was one of the best experiences in my adult life. Working with a new group every time, meeting new people, engaging with them, communicating, and managing the actors were joyful daily challenges. I always gonna remember my theater days.
As an introvert and a very shy person theater helped me to grow and become more communicative and active. I also found so many new and good friends that I will always hold on to.
Then covid hit. The theaters were closed I didn’t have any projects to tend to. I did continue to work in the fashion studio for some time. But we didn’t have any customers and I was very worried about my payment. I couldn’t earn enough money to meet ends. Also, I didn’t feel good in my work conditions. I didn’t feel appreciated or heard. I was also getting very depressed and felt very stressed out. One day after a bit of dispute with my boss I quieted my job and came home.
A couple of days later my sister sent me a project for the WINaTALENT platform. It wasn’t that hard and I finished it on due time and liked the modern environment with great communication. I felt appropriated and happy. This became a routine. I attended to their projects and got paid accordingly. After some time I started SEO learning courses and felt more comfortable with the whole system.
I was always a bit of a geek so their subjects interested me and I think I’m not that bad in this line of work. I’m going to write more about how I managed to overcome my anxiety at the beginning of my content writing career in future posts.
